About

We read the boring bits
so you do not have to.

Claripick is a small editorial outfit reviewing the software businesses actually run on. CRMs, marketing tools, project trackers, the stuff in your IT bill at the end of the month. We try to write the review you wished existed before you signed up to a three-year contract.

Why we started this.

Most B2B software reviews are written by one of three people. The vendor, who is selling. A "top 10" content farm, where every product is somehow the best. Or a forum thread from 2019 that no one has updated since.

None of those tell you what you actually want to know. How long will this really take to set up. What is the price after the discount runs out. What breaks the day someone on your team tries to do something obvious.

Claripick is the spreadsheet your most cynical friend would build for you, written up in plain English. We take a small list of categories, read everything written about every serious option in each, and publish what we would tell our own team if they asked.

We do not work for any vendor. We do not write sponsored reviews. We do earn a commission when readers subscribe through a link on the site, and that pays for the time it takes to do this properly. The commission never changes a score, and the disclosure is on every page that has an affiliate link.

Four rules we wrote down.

I.

No vendor wrote a word of this

Every review starts blank. We pull from public docs, real user feedback, and our own reading of the product. Vendors do not see drafts. They see what you see.

II.

Affiliate money does not move scores

We get paid the same whether we score a tool a 4.8 or a 2.1. Commission only happens if a reader genuinely clicks and subscribes. Anything else, and the whole site stops being useful.

III.

Pricing checked monthly

Vendors love to quietly slide the pricing page around. We re-verify prices on the first week of every month, with the date stamped on every review.

IV.

We say "no" out loud

Every review has a "Not for you if..." section. If a tool is wrong for you, we want you to find out here, not after the contract is signed.

In plain English

We get paid only when a vendor pays us a referral fee, which only happens if you read a review, like the look of the tool, click a link, and subscribe. The vendor pays the fee from their own margin. Your price does not move. Our scores do not move either, regardless of which vendors pay better.

Found something wrong?

Wrong price. Outdated screenshot. A take we got plain wrong. Tell us. We answer every email and we publish corrections fast.
