In most South African NPOs one person holds four jobs. She writes the funder reports and reconciles the bank. She chases the B-BBEE affidavit and she is the reason the DSD report went in by month nine. Her title says programme manager, or director, or nothing at all.
The software built for this work was not built for here. It charges in dollars, stores data overseas and has never heard of the NPO Act. Meanwhile the Department of Social Development had deregistered 15 625 NPOs as at June 2025 and reports that roughly 52% of the register is not compliant with sections 18 and 19 of the NPO Act. Not because those organisations stopped caring. Because nobody was watching the date.

Claripick (Pty) Ltd previously published software reviews. That chapter is closed. If you find an old review page with our name on it, that is where it comes from, and it has nothing to do with this product. We say so here rather than hoping you do not notice.
